Project Architect, Terry Roye

RoyeMr. Terry D. Roye, AIA serves as the Project Architect in the Office of the University Architect. He assists with the development of the built environment of Texas A&M University. This includes ensuring adherence to Campus Master Plan design principles and campus standards for projects related to architecture, landscape architecture, and historic preservation.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Art degree from Louisiana Tech University.

Roye previously served a Senior Project Manager for Salisbury University, Director of Design and Construction at University of Houston, Senior Project Manager and Planner at Yale University, Senior Project Manager at University of Texas Medical Branch, and Director of Program Management Group for Caldwell Companies doing work at Lone Star Community College. He has over fifteen years of higher education experience and over thirty years of experience as an Architect.

He is a Registered Architect in Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Missouri as a member of National Council of Architectural Registration. Roye is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

He enjoys spending time with family, friends, kayaking, biking, fishing, outdoor hiking and camping, traveling, art, sports, and photography.
