Graduate Assistant, Saima Musharrat

MusharratMs. Saima Musharrat is a graduate assistant for the Office of the University Architect. In this role, she assists the Office of the University Architect in all aspects of campus development.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and a Master of Science in Human Settlements (MaHS) degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. She is completing her Master of Urban Planning degree with a certificate in Multimodal Transportation Planning at Texas A&M University. She is a fervent advocate for sustainable way of living in all aspects of life, be it built environment design or public policy planning. Musharrat expects to graduate in the spring of 2017.

Previously Musharrat has worked with Madison County Council of Governments in Indiana and has been a graduate research assistant for the College of Architecture in Texas A&M. 

As an international student, Musharrat enjoys traveling to different parts of Asia, Europe, and the United States. When she’s not traveling, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, kayaking, appreciating any form of art, reading, and street photography.
